$3,750 December Price Adjustment for Lease?

Hi there, we are about to take delivery of a new Model 3 dual-motor in a week or two. We ordered it on April 16th when the price was $2K less than it is today.

We were planning on leasing it, but does anyone know if the December price adjustment is applicable to a lease? And if so, is it applied to the price when we purchased versus the higher price today?

I do love Tesla (this Model 3 is replacing our existing Model 3 lease), but the lack of any sort of detail on this sort of stuff drives me bonkers. No one notified us, presumably because we were already planning to take delivery, which is very disappointing.

If you have the delivery day locked down, check your MVPA, mine got updated automatically and no SA informed me.

Looks like I might have to add it to my insurance policy and then the next step would be to get the MVPA. Sound right?

Mine was not a lease.

They updated the MVPA on 12/1. I needed to talk to tesla customer service to change the loan amount as I want to finance lesser.

FYI - I did confirm with Tesla today that the price adjustment is applied to a leased car as well.

Picked up last Sunday, updated lease amount 2 days before pickup which included the discount.

Wow... That seems to pretty much guarantee that they're going to drop prices to comply with the IRA $7,500 tax credit.

If it's delivered in December you get the credit. Delivery is the key thing.

If I order today M3 RWD chances must be slim to get it by 12/31. I already canceled my November delivery and lost $250.
Don't want to loose $250 again if It miss the 31 date.
