36.10 green light chime FSD only?

I received the 2020.36.10 update. One of the more interesting new features noted by others is the green light chime when using autopilot. Not necessary, but a potentially useful convenience. However, after installation, I don’t see the option and it was not mentioned in the release notes in the car. . I suspect that means it works for FSD, not standard autopilot. Is this correct? I have a LR AWD, no FSD (I don’t buy software based on features coming Real Soon Now, but that is another topic).

I think you're right. But honestly the chime is a minor change - on the surface at least - who knows what else is going on. The car has been seeing lights change for months; all they did was make it chime when it actually happens (I know there's more to it, but that's essentially it). More of a minor pacifier than anything else.

Green light chime also works when not using AP.

I have FSD, have the chime, and I find myself wishing that the IDIOTS IN FRONT OF ME had the chime too! Imagine a world people actually started to move when the light turned green instead of staring at their phones, eating their sandwiches, or doing their makeup.
