3P+ Range & Wh/Mile - 307 Miles of Range

I have driven 200 miles so far since the delivery.
90% Full Charge Rated Range = 279 Miles
100% Expected Rated Range = 310 Miles exact (279/.9)

Currently, I am getting 255 Wh/mile.
Mind you that I did at least a dozen of 0-60 under 3.5 seconds as it can get addictive. If I drive carefully all the time, I should make under 250 Wh/mile. If I achieve it, I will get like 312.8 ~ 313 Miles of range!

Anyway I know there is like 78.2 kWh usable battery and going back to the current usage .255.
78.2/.255 = 306.66 miles ~307 miles

If I just underestimate it with 75 kWh usable battery due to other external factors
75/.255 = 294 miles, still not bad! On average I should get 300 miles easily.

I think I read somewhere that P3D+ 20 inch tires would get like 270 Miles of range. I think user named "Troy" showed the data.

Based on my usage, I think I am getting close to the EPA range. 307 vs 310

There gotta be handful P3D+ out there. What are you guys getting?

I’ve been getting worse numbers (400ish wh/mi today, worst yet). But that was with the heat on and in stop-and-go traffic for 12 miles on the way home.

Last weekend I believe I was seeing around 320 or sometimes less for highway driving. Will probably go on a drive tomorrow and see what I get.

Keep in mind Tesla rated the ranges based on "worst case" i.e. P3D+.
RWD Owners with Areo's, Covers on etc. are getting WAY better than 310 range.
Someone with a RWD with 8000 miles posted 191 wh/mi lifetime (392 mile range !!)
So the AWD + 20" wheels do cost range.
The predicted differences are true, it's just the other way around.

Tesla's marketing/labeling scheme worked, because everyone is happy.

That's really impressive with 191 wh/mi. I don't know if that is achieved with 65+ mph on highway.

I drive around 65mph-70mph on highway. If I get stuck in traffic maybe less.

But I must admit I am happy with the range so far!

This is super impressive if you have the performance version! I'm getting much less than this so I want to try to address this ASAP - I created this site where I'm collecting data, if its useful for you to compare your energy usage to others, please submit and I'll post results once I get statistically significant results:

Model 3 energy usage data

Awesome site! I submitted it. I will take a screenshot later.

Model 3P+ Wh:mi.jpg

252 Wh/mi. I did some 0-50 mph at the red lights and now it's at 253 Wh/Mi.

Maybe the SoCal's rush hour traffic is helping it.
