Called tesla today. Asked if i upgraded to eap if that would help. He said no, it would delay. He did say any day now. Assistant assigned and thats a good sign.

It's not the vast majority, but it is definitely "most"

From spread sheet as of today:

Percentile 50: 33 days
Percentile 75: 41 days
Percentile 95: 57 days
Percentile 99: 67 days

If we say most is over 50% you are right. 77% get delivery in 6 weeks or fewer. Nearly a quarter must wait 64% more time. Tens of millions of dollars and people in thousands.

Last week was very frustrating since Tesla front line phone people were not helpful and said you just have to wait. Finally this week when I called they said an advisor has been assigned and will call you today (Monday).
Within 2 hours he called and said they are going to look for a car and should know more in a few days. Wednesday I called and he said they may have located a car in the factory and I may get a VIN next week.
Totally non committal but I guess beggars can’t be choosers! So I wait.

congrats to everyone getting a VIN. i chickened out and never placed the order... have seen a few in the wild and they definitely do have panel and hood misalignments so i think i decided just to sit on it for a while. it's hard though since i see 1-2 per day here in north oakland.
