With the caveat that the D's boost is going to be a TBD update. No, it’s the 2019.8.2 update.

I believe the answer is yes, people have gotten 8.2 with the all wheel drive and have not seen a power boost nor release notes mentioning it. I think that’s what’s leading to the speculation that its getting a bigger boost outside of this update.
Like that would ever happen.*Dreamy plot twist*: The performance of the LR AWD stays the same. Tesla instead introduces Ludicrous Mode option on this model only for $_k with a 0-60 in 3.8. OTA conversion after purchase. Wham, bam, thank you ma'am.
It’s a $0 marginal cost upgrade that allows every $ they pull in from selling the upgrade go straight to the bottom line similar to their AP/EAP offerings.
From a business sense, it makes no sense that they don’t offer it since it’s only software to move a non-P to a P-.
Sounds good to meReally don't think they go all the way to PD- for lots of reasons. I do think AWD cars get an uncork AFTER they bring a little more power to the P3Ds. AWD cars now hit 4.2 pretty regularly. My guess is we get 3.9 uncork and the P3D gets 3.0 flat sometime before summer.

Pretty sure he's referring to 0-60mph with 1ft rollout (which is really 15-60, but whatever). The dragy app has AWD cars consistently at 4.5 0-60 and 4.2 0-60 w/rollout. Must download their app and look through Tesla history. (It's a crappy interface.)Where are you seeing reports of AWD hitting 4.2 pretty regularly?
M3 AWD LR Non P Vbox run(S)Where are you seeing reports of AWD hitting 4.2 pretty regularly?
Yes 1 ft rollout is standard in the car magazine reports. And Tesla uses it to advertise the P3D at 3.2. They do NOT use it to advertise the AWD at 4.5. With rollout AWD is 4.2 all day long. One guy on this forum was getting 4 flat.
Haven't seen it here unfortunately. Anybody on the East Coast got it yet?2019.8.3 is out and I believe has what you AWD ppl are looking for.
