60 kWh vs 85 kWh packs

So there's some other overhead for the 60kWh pack (41.7lbs more than expected).

I started a new thread in the driving dynamics sub-forum but if anyone is interested I just got 0-60mph time of 5.4 seconds on my 60 kWh Model S.

Hey that is great. I am not surprised. It is my gut feeling that the 85 is also faster than billed ESP with the new software 4.0 and above, which delivers torque even more rapidly than before, and in a more stable manner.

Its easy to test. If someone will post a video of their dashboard speedo I can figure out what the comparable S85 time is.

My experience is the same as yours RCC with the P85. Winter is the tough on the battery - wish they had included a Propane tank option for heat! I would have gotten it to extend the range in the winter months. However the AC doesn't seem to have the same impact to the battery in the summer.
