Only report I heard from an owner is that he paid 100k cash money. That's not a lease.
There could even be some financial implications to Tesla delivering any cars to non-employees in Q4 ( the development costs hit the books??)...I'm guessing we won't see ANY more deliveries this year. Heck, there are less than 30 days left now anyway in Q4.

I await the day, about two years from now when there are plenty of these in the hands of regular people. I’m willing to wager TMC threads about the Cybertruck will whine quite loudly. Many of those whining then many very well be those singing its praise here today… Only time will prove this statement true or false. Save it and let’s revisit in 12-18 months.
It’s unfortunate that those who put their name on the list years ago might be worried about high interest rates...but most still have a long wait so the economy could improve...so I don’t think there will be many cancellations....although perhaps a lot of people will sell their place in the queue.
Anyhow, spare a thought for those on this side of the pond...it’s quite possible that we will NEVER see the Cybertruck here because of European pedestrian collision regulations
Yes, but I've also had several people tell me who didn't know about the CT until the unveiling they are now placing an order. Mostly based on the positive review videos. We shall see.

They can certainly afford the price so I have no reason to doubt them based on the other expensive toys they own.
Until we see a TFLtruck , motortrend, car and driver review including off-roading, Ike gauntlet etc…. You know they barely delivered any vehicles with the exception of NDA bound hardcore influencers or employees….
