Any mud flaps effectiveness or efficiency tests?

I have 5k miles on it with full PPF and NO mud flaps at all. No sign of any scratch at all in that area. No off roading, but I drive hard. very hard! (MYP)
Same, MYP. I live in SoCal, but I've done some long drives to Seattle and Southern Utah so 🤷

The undercarriage in that area is pretty bad too, lol Plastidipped all the plastic cadding recently a darker black

Agreed. While the mudflaps and rear door PPF have protected the paint in that area on the rear doors well, the black plastic undercarriage is chewed up. You can't visibly see it on mine, but you can feel it.
