Not that I would be likely to get a Model 3 again regardless, but even though I could probably deal with the removal of the shift stalk, losing the turn signal stalk is a hard no.
Love my January 2023RWD and no dissat reason to move to highland
BUT
If I was in the market now, I would wait
I am all in on rhe right stock removal
And controls going to Haptic Touch points
Remember back in the day we turned the headlights on and off and they are now auto controlled
Wipers, almost perfected by auto
These make sense and work
Until 0-60 in <2.9s and <360-mile range, count me as a no. But hit those goals and I'll upgrade the ol' M3P. There is no upgrade without an upgrade in performance.
Did you mean >360?
For -2.9 TBD, that might be reserved for MS and Roadster
For 360, think we will see that in rhe M3P vehicle, not the M3P battery adding confusion with the same acronym, when either 4680 gen 3s or M3P batteries are put in that model
We are fairly certain a smaller pack of M3P batteries will be used in rhe RWD increasing its range to 300
That range climbing up toward the current LR and P models, those will need a range increase hoping LR goes to 400 and Perf goes to 361
Yes, whoops, >360-mile range indeed. While I'm sure I'd love HW4 and a refreshed look, I'd consider moving from a '19 M3P (21k miles) to a '24 M3P a pretty lateral move not worthy of my dollars if the 0-60 and 1320 performance is no better than current-gen. I'll hold off for 0-60 in 2.9s and 11.1s quarter-mile.
