Anyone else really miss the 'blue car' in front? AP1 vs AP2

Since AP2 is steadily heading towards parity with AP1 I'm wondering if we're ever going to see the 'blue' car in front again?

Personally, I found it extremely reassuring that when the lines on either side of the road, or the kerb, disappeared Autopilot 'locked' onto the car in front, turned it 'blue' to identify it and trailed loyally until the guidelines reappeared. I wouldn't have thought this was a difficult thing to program into AP2 since it now does a reasonable job of following the lines anyway, but when the lines disappear for some reason, say at junctions, the car loses it completely whereas with AP1 it would continue as if nothing had happened as long as there was a car to turn 'blue' in front.

I've seen the "blue car" on my AP2 car, but it seems very sporadic. I assume this feature will be back once AP for local streets is fully functioning.

It must be like seeing rocking horse droppings on AP2. The only cars I ever seem to see in front of mine are always grey and often look like jumping beans.
