Anyone else with Model X Scheduled Delivery on 9/30 (aka last day of Q3)?

Currently, I'm part of the many who got their orders squeezed into the last day of Q3 on 9/30 Sunday. Would like to use this thread to discuss any comments, concerns, or experiences with delivery.

Anyone else schedule their pickup time yet?

I'm picking up in Fremont and was told my MX production would be finished the day of (9/30) and the after inspection is done shortly after. The Delivery specialist never reached out to me so I had to call the store and the manager helped schedule a time. She said a later pickup appointment would be better and give Tesla more time to prepare.

I'm from CA, but picking up in NJ. So I'm taking a red-eye sat night. Interesting point, all NJ car dealerships are closed on Sunday, but Tesla will open this Sunday.

This week has been nearly impossible to get answers to questions.
I’m 50/50 thinking it will actually work out, and I envision madness when I show up. Keeping expectations really low.

I was originally scheduled for 30Sep delivery back in August when I ordered.

I got a call saying "we can bump you up to 25Sep delivery" early in September. i was super excited.

got an email at 9PM on the 24Sep saying, "logistics manager, blah blah blah, delayed till 30Sep".

So, yes, i'm back to 30Sep 10:30am. Orlando, FL

How are you avoiding double taxes if you are bringing it back to CA?

I was originally set for 9/30. I asked them to move it up and so far it's set for 9/28, but they said it would be delivered 9/26 but they like to take a day to inspect everything.

It's been terrible trying to contact my delivery advisor and to change the purchase agreement in time. I've been waiting on them since Tuesday to change it and communication has been VERY slow. I wouldn't be surprised if I couldn't pick up by 9/28. I'm just hoping there's no issues with the car so I can take it home the same day!

It's been an anxious week of waiting for the delivery specialist to reach out. Finally did yesterday (Thursday), 3 days before scheduled delivery. The specialist confirmed that my MX would only just have finished up production the day of, which is making me worried that they don't spend much time at all with testing and QA/QC checks. I'm preparing myself to expect quality issues and flaws -- I just hope I won't have to reject the delivery due to anything major.

Tentatively scheduled for delivery on Sunday. I live in NH so they won't let us pick it up in the MA service center. Crazy thing is I dropped off my trade in ahead of time to make this happen

Im picking up 9/29 10 30am. I havent got a call since tuesday this week . however, tesla account still show in production. I hope it will go smooth tomorrow. expecting everyone in SC would be busy on this weekend.

Honestly while excited for a car, considering all the crazy going on I’d probably ask to take delivery first week of Oct. Things might settle down at least a little by then.

I was told you had to accept delivery by the 30th to get Free Supercharging, but honestly, I'd accept delivery in Q1 too if I got to keep free SC. It has been a nightmare trying to get this turned around in the span of a week.

I'm in the same boat. Order specialist said 95% sure I could get it by 9/30 and that would mean free supercharging. In the event it doesn't work out, he said he would need to go to the higher ups to make it happen but claims it should be ok. More importantly for me doing Tesla Financing, interest rates will go up if I can't get this picked up by 9/30. Interest rate calculations go up 1st day of next quarter (10/1).

I went through Alliant, so they just wired funds today and locked me in at the current rate. But I won't have a car until Sunday though.

Hope it goes smooth for you tomorrow. Ours was scheduled to be done 9/27 but was delayed. Not sure if just it or if they are delayed overall. They may be focusing on higher end models, since it was a 75D. We ended up upgrading to a 100D and happy with it so far.

I'm supposed to be on the truck for delivery today. I hate waiting, I feel like every car is potentially the truck with my MX in it.

Mine is supposed to be delivered to my house between 10am and noon PST. Here I sit waiting looking at TMC posts!

Madness here. 1:30pm appt and I’m still waiting for docs 4 hrs later. Nobody has an answer. Almost all are M3 deliveries here.

7hours later, and I may or may not get my car tonight. Delivery driver certainly hasn't called so not looking good. This whole lack of clear communication is the most frustrating process ever.
