It could be that your 12v battery is on its way out. That happened to me, and that was the cause( some sort of failsafe to ensure ability to enter/exit? ... but they replace the battery under warranty.. no further issues.
So they are going to take yet another feature totally away from everyone because they need time to figure out a fix for a few random users???!!! If this is true it would seem that Tesla is not learning lessons very well.I came out to the garage few days ago to find all 4 windows had rolled down. This was the third time this happened. Jonathan at the Rockville Service Center checked the logs and found no error. However, he did say that Tesla has had an issue (bug) with the car sometimes thinking that the key fob button to open all windows is pressed when walking away from the car. As a result, they said that version 6 of the firmware will ignore the command to open all windows from the key fob until they are able to figure out this bug. Don't know whether there is any connection between this bug and yours, of just one window opening.

Who's to say it wasn't just a pair of too-tight jeans in the midst of a crouch??This could easily press and hold the fob button. This seems like what has happened with my car, the two times that this has occurred, since all of the windows rolled down. Because you can precondition the car I'm not sure how much I would use the key-fob-window-roll-down feature, but I haven't really had a chance to try with the cold weather either. Here's hoping they can find and fix the bug.

I don't know. I don't think I've ever used this "feature" except to test it. But even if it was a feature that I used all the time, I'd rather they take it away (for a while) than risk having a window or windows open unexpectedly while the car was unattended in a public place. I think it's the right decision.
Hey DallasThom, Welcome!!!That happened to me once as well. I thought somehow I may have rolled it down by accident. That would be unlikely as it was below freezing outside and I would've noticed the window down very quickly. Furthermore, this was in an overnight parking garage. I walked away...far away and spent the night out of range of the car.
