so my 85D lease is up in March and I am planning on getting another tesla. Has anyone been through this yet. I have asked at the store about when to order so that I can just turn in one car and get another but they never quite understand what I am asking. Just wondering who I should talk to about to make sure timing (don’t want the new car available to early or late).

I'm in the same boat and, when I asked, I was told they don't extend leases. Other manufacturers allow for very easy automatic extensions. It's actually to their advantage. I have a Day One Model 3 reservation, so I may use the Model 3 as a stopgap if necessary. Luckily, I have a buyer lined up who isn't concerned about the exact delivery date.

You haven’t heard about it because it doesn’t exist yet. Right now it’s just a rumor that it may happen sometime soonish.
