A new leak claims that the next Tesla car software update will include Apple Podcasts for the first time, though it will require drivers to subscribe to Tesla's Premium Connectivity service.

Just use my bluetooth connection to my phone from my Model Y and select the podcast on my iPhone to listen to my podcasts.

Great. And what do you do when you want to browse your library to listen to another podcast? And don’t say pick up your phone while driving to select another one as it’s against the law to use your phone while driving.

Indeed, but overcast’s smart speed and voice boost functions will be hard to give up.

the only thing left for me would be Audible - if they had audible then I would have no reason to even pair up my phone as I hate answering calls while I'm driving

They essentially do the same thing, as do other podcast apps available. Aside from the remote possibility a particular podcast may only be available on a particular service, it probably just comes down to trying the different apps that may be of interest and settling on the one that is liked the most.

I have no real experience of Spotify but if you’re already a user of it, happy with it and it successfully syncs across all your devices there’s probably no real reason to switch bar curiosity to try something else.
