Are front license plate holders pre-installed?

I got a note from The Law folks that said their product did not interfere with the cooling or radar. You might want to double check with them.

So far I have not noticed anything unusual with my AP but ...

Can you post a picture of the install with the grill visible. Still trying to figure out when does that plastic cover close/open behind that grill

Sounds like the vent for the battery. If so, it's going to be controlled by the battery management system and opened when the battery needs additional cooling.

I installed The Law after getting a ticket from the parking police in San Francisco. Fortunately it was a fix-it for $10 as opposed to the full penalty of $121. Week into it, and I have had no problems with AP, cooling or anything else.

Although California requires front plates, I was walking around the Tesla factory last week. I'd say that 90% of the employee-owned Tesla's don't have front plates. Clearly those people have been more fortunate to avoid the ticket.
