A member of the North Texas Tesla club has posted that his 2022 MYLR, while doing the latest update (2022.40.4.1), BOTH front windows shattered. The photos he posted show a spiderweb broken glass pattern that seems to originate at the sideview mirrors.

He and his wife were INSIDE the car during the update. He's trying to blame the update.

Question: Are the windows operable during an update? If someone attempts to OPEN the door during an update, do the windows retract enough to safely open?

Bizarre situation.

I have to ask though: What does someone do inside a car during a 30-40min+ update where the car is technically undriveable? There's probably no air circulation either unless you left the windows open.

EDIT: Oh, and even if you open the doors without the windows going down, the windows don't shatter... That has happened a lot where there are winters, snow, freezing etc. At worse you scratch the door trim.
