Although an update to the article says that Audi has completed homologation.

just seems a bit weird that Audi are stating software homologation issues so late in the development cycle.
What can the largest autio manufacturer in the world possibly not have anticipated.

The location of the test track (manufacturers have been known to localise software to test areas)
tbh with VW/Audi/Porsche reputation for fixing tests in software it's enough to make you wonder ...
