Same as me, spoke to an SA on Saturday asked for an update. Got a generic answer and two days later I’ve got an EDD. I think that’s more than a coincidence given 0 contact since placing my order in April.

Someone in melbourne ordered m3rwd white on black with 19 inch wheels on the 17th feb 3 days before mine im sure tesla build couple of them not just 1 so they mustve have built it but i havent received a vin . This is ridiculous and frustrating .

I just checked, and have received a VIN. Not wanting to convey too much excitement here because I know how it feels to read these without getting one yourself.

Delivery is Nov 30 - Dec 14
Melbourne / RWD / Blue / Black / Ordered 27 Feb 2022

I think its when you are almost at your wits end that you will receive a VIN. Hang in there. Stay sane.

And I don't think anyone here resents others getting their VINs, just frustrated when newer orders get theirs first. Understandable, I was annoyed when I saw an April GC order with my config get a VIN weeks ago, while Brisbane has had none.

I really do think there's heaps coming our way and they just haven't had chance to allocate all yet. Suspect this is why we're seeing heaps of Melbourne's. I think the longer voyage means they're shipping first... but that doesn't explain SA, WA or TAS.
