The disappearing VIN in the app means nothing if you have the final invoice with it listed. My VIN is missing but I just booked in my delivery for March 18. LR in Sydney. There is a pulse!

15/3 and 16/3. I called up and my car is not available before 15/3, and my delivery window extends to 21/3. RWD red.

I have just received my VIN with the Tesla VIN Finder extension. And now have an EDD March 24-April 29.

Ordered 27 January RWD Red/Black.

Not much different from the original EDD FEB-APR but exciting to have some changes.

When you get a specific date range like that it seems to mean a VIN has been allocated behind the scenes - you might be able to find it in the source code of the order page.

I just double checked the app. I have a form called “Application for vehicle registration”. I am going to fill it out ASAP and send it to Tesla.

I just got a new Edd of March 18-April23. From the pinkenba dc. Order mid Jan. rwd stealth grey. I just wanted to ask has anyone got their car tinted or paint protection? If so how much did it cost? Has anyone done it thru their NL?

Yeah I’ve spoken to Tesla support about this and they told me there is a bug on the Highland software bundle preventing it from updating. I tried all the known methods, as well as the method listed on this Tesla service page, in addition to what Tesla support asked me to try.

Tried on:
- 2023.38.200.1(Knew it wasn’t possible with a delivery software package, but tried anyway)
- 2023.44.30.8
- 2024.2.3
- 2024.2.6

And all resulted in a failure. The connector tried to update on all occasions, I did get the notification every time but it ended up failing.

I'm not sure what the firmware is on my UMC but curiously tried to follow the guide on the service page. I couldn't get it to mention an update let alone a failure message.

Also, the link to the service page is for US and says to open the LH front door, assuming they mean the drivers door, right? Anyways I tried both front doors and diddly squat happened.

What is the updated firmware supposed to be for anyway?
