So you got a vin initially? I ordered mid Nov and I haven't got any vin yet. I assume your delivery center is Alexandria?

Yes. Had a VIN assigned in 2 weeks. I ordered after the GC saga was already fully on. Got assigned a GC car. I ordered vanilla RWD, White, Black,19. No changes.

Have not got a VIN reassigned and no changes to EDD.

I wonder what the specs of the cars are that have got a reassigned VIN. May be those were batch produced and were popped on to the morning crystal to come to Australia and calm some of us down.

Have any of you not got an email saying what ship your car is on? I got one when the Glovis saga started but I haven’t got one saying it’s on the ‘Morning Crystal‘ even though my VIN has been re-assigned. Is there any other way to tell what ship I’m on?

I asked Tesla via text and got replied that mine is in Morning Crystal

I got a Tesla email confirmation that my reassigned VIN #36xxx is on the Morning Crystal. Like a few others here I had to redo my Rego application for the new VIN today.

Cross-referencing pictures of the MC, it's definitely our very clean, very arthropod-free ship. My RWD silver / BLACK / 20" looks bluddy majestic.

The ship in the video is not the Morning Crystal. MC's IMO is 9574080, that one is 9626704 (seen at 2:49). The ship in the video is a China-flagged ship named the AN JI 9. It regularly takes cars from Shanghai to the northern Chinese ports of Yantai, Dalian and Tianjin.
