When acceleration Boost was made available to M3, it was only available to the M3LR which had the front motor. In US it's also avail to MYLR which has dual motor. But apparently it only shaves about 0.5 sec off the 0-60Does anyone know if the RWD is going to also receive the Acceleration Boost?
a 0.5 sec is quite a large difference. Doesn't sound a lot but it is very noticeable. But apparently it only shaves about 0.5 sec off the 0-60
Performance Petrol car owners could only dream of shaving half a second of their 0-60mph time for $3000. They also fantasise about getting that performance boost without reducing the engines efficiency, reliability and tractability.a 0.5 sec is quite a large difference. It removes the software limit on the motors so they can produce their rated power. What does acceleration boost change in the car to increase the acceleration?

OK so Tesla nerfed the car with software and now it is saying if you want it back you can pay $3000 for Tesla to un-nerf it?It removes the software limit on the motors so they can produce their rated power.

What do people think of the unofficial AB from the non Tesla "software unlockers"
Do you have iPhone or Android? Mine isn't showing it on iOS
Exactly, it makes a lot of sense, saves them money by having to have two separate sets of parts and gives the buyer (and subsequent buyers) the option to upgrade easily (thereby adding a potential upsell). That's certainly a bit of a disingenuous take. They could have just as easily put in less powerful motors saving themselves money and not offered a boost. Or forced all LR models to come unlocked and increased the base price of the car by $3k. Not sure why you're so upset over an optional extra? Everyone who bought the LR car knew the speed they could get and the price of it and was ok with that.
Do you get just as upset when BMW or Mercedes charges extra for a "factory tune" on their higher spec models even if it's the same engine?

Either way if you don't want to pay the extra you don't get it, just means this way you will have the option later on if you change your mind. I really can't understand the mindset of people complaining about having options.

No because the same engines produces the same power.Do you get just as upset when BMW or Mercedes charges extra for a "factory tune" on their higher spec models even if it's the same engine?
