Autopilot avoiding accidents

When autopilot avoids an accident, even using the wheel to move the car to another lane, is it the basic autopilot or AEP/FSD?

Basic AP should have the same accident avoidance features as EAP and FSD, but switching lanes to avoid an obstacle is unusual and I’m not sure how well any Tesla does that.

I'm not expecting the Tesla (current software) will ever change lanes by itself for accident avoidance. It will help you to keep control of the vehicle if you make such a maneuver yourself, but that's more of a vehicle stability thing.
