I have a VIN and delivery date but I was not able to log into the app on my iPhone, got the no produce linked message. I also don't have a referral code in my account.

do you have the latest version of the app? I too had to update to see it.

I updated the app and that didn't work so I deleted and reinstalled and that gave me the same outcome, nothing.

I have to say this is somewhat of a battle with every step of the way but the car seems amazing and worth it.

Edit button disappeared yesterday AM. Email from ISA before days end to confirm details of my name address and insurance. Asked for quick reply so she could contact me to set delivery.

Finalized financing today through Tesla. Rates similar with most CU so I did through Tesla at 3.55%. Many better rates posted but for Michigan owners CU have issue with vehicles being titled in Ohio not Michigan so won’t lend (our state banned sales).

As soon as I confirmed financing ISA gave delivery date options and unveiled when the car would be delivered to service center (in fact it was already in transit).

They give you a 10 day window to take delivery from the time it hits the service center (which seems tight when you live out of state but reasonable otherwise. They WILL reassign your car to another owner if you don’t take car in these 10 days.

Compared to many other forum posts my ISA communications have been prompt, clear, and easy. Outside of some extenuating circumstance, this seems like the best car buying experience of my life (and I have had two S’ and and X prior to this car). The financing through Tesla is very easy now compared to the rather convoluted things I’ve had to do in the past.

Does anyone know what happens if you are out of the country in the 10 day window? For example, can you have a friend or family member take delivery if you pay in full in advance?

I know in CA things are different, but on the east coast we are a lot closer together. There is no where in MD that is further from me than you are from LA

I have been a Tesla fan since 2009... I have also been behind the wheel of the 3 as well. I do look forward to getting my own 3, but I didnt drink the Tesla koolaid! I'm not an expert in logistics by any stretch of the imagination, but what Tesla is doing is pissing off a lot people.

You are confusing the very small number of all Model 3 reservation holders who post on TMC with the thousands who don’t post and are just waiting patiently for their car.

Not i got a call and was told car can/will be ready for Thursday 9th evening as the car is expected to arrive there couple of days ahead of time. I ordered using my brothers account and delivery specialist was able to transfer the car over to my account in matter of seconds. I did not expect this until September - November. Now as many other scrambling to start 3rd party finances. Super stoked. No Vin yet.

Yes, after all this is AWD thread. Mathematically speaking, there are only handful of total different ways one can configure Tesla. Btw, good choice on exterior color. I am planning on tinting and wanted to keep inside dark from outside, plus white might be hard to keep clean imo

Yea, I was just surprised you got yours so soon. Maybe mine will be here sooner than later.

Yep and if you have the newest version of the tesla app you can now log in. You can view the instruction videos and access the new referral “loot box”

I updated the app and logged in. Was able to get my referral code. I have no VIN assigned. The app then kicked me out and I relogged in....stated I didn’t have a Tesla product associated with me.
