AWD/RWD Battery Pack Differences?

    I was chatting with a friend who's thinking about buying a Model S when he asked me if there was a difference in battery packs between a new RWD/AWD vehicle. I assume there isn't but I can't find any information that confirms/denies this assertion. Does anyone here know the answer?

    I think an AWD pack is backwards compatible with RWD but not the other way around. At some point Tesla revised the enclosure and called them all Flex Packs.
