Experiencing a leak from the rear axle area. It is dripping on the garage floor & is coating the rear area of the car. It is an oily film on the car & clear to slightly "pinkish" when collected on cardboard (left overnight) under the rear axle area. Contacted service, but 2 weeks out. Safe to drive??
less fortunate ppl than u, either buy high mileage cars or keep them for long time
what did u think happens to those cars?? they don't all go to scrap yard or vanish lol

No seals in the car for any rotating shafts do not rotate with the shafts. Most oil leak occurs between the oil seal and the housing, not between the rotating shaft and oil seal.
So, most oil leak will drip down due to gravity and towards the back due to vehicle moving.
