Backing into charging spots

This is your response? Attacking my driving skills? If you don't have anything helpful to say you do know that you have the option of taking your attitude to another thread right?
Give him a nice manual clutch truck at night with no yuppie cameras and practice parking on a steep hill. It would be almost as much fun to watch as week end boat launch ramps😜🤣👀.

Pull alongside the spot and then make a right angle turn away from the spot you want to back into. THEN you can back straight in.

Just take your time, go slow. Tip: You can set the side view mirrors to automatically tilt downwhen you shift into reverse so you can see the parking lines. Use the backup camera and stop when within 24 inches of the wall or Supercharger station.

Use the backup camera to align the screen guidelines inside parking space markings... works like a charm. ;)

Tried this today and combination of these suggestions helped. Thank you all!

You can always use the cars in the surrounding spots as sort of guide rails to get into the space. Like those rails they put up for beginning bowlers.
Hopefully he doesn't use the surrounding cars like people use those bumper rails though! Try not to 'bounce off' of the cars on either side like a bowling ball would as you back in! 😆

On a serious note to the OP, plenty of others have already responded with the helpful info. Use the backup camera. Go slow. Get some practice in a low trafficked lot. You'll be comfortable in no time.

Is this a serious post, especially if you live in the Bay Area? You have to pass a parallel parking test to get your driver's license at the least. Backing in to a supercharger spot is the same as backing out of your garage, out of your driveway, out of a parking spot, etc..
Assuming someone in the Bay Area has basic driving skills is your first mistake…
