Best place to work? In a Model S!

I found that Model S is actually THE best place to work:

1. You can work from anywhere you like: on the beach, by the street, in a park.
2. Need to take phone calls? No problem. Bluetooth hands free and quieter than a cafe. Little road noises and no engine sound.
3. environment friendly and guilt free. You can keep the AC ON all day without worrying about pollution and the battery drain is not bad at all.
4. Charge your phone and tablet all you want, even your laptop if you get a cigarette charger.

I really love the experience. It is so liberating!

It takes some getting used to for me, that you can sit in the car with the A/C going and the radio going without burning gas or running out of battery...

Right. Will keep that in mind. I have always wanting to work "at home" to avoid the commute. However, home is really not that exciting for me because of the isolation, and cafes are too loud. So Model S is really great. And I can always walk into a cafe if I want.

Do this all the time. I even have a "work" profile that moves the seat all the way back, sets the backrest, and moves the steering wheel all the way forward and up. This gives me tons of room for my laptop.

This brings up a question that burns holes in my brain when my rated range is sub 100...

What do the "extras" in the car actual use, or are rated to use? For example

DRL: 50wh
A/C 72F exterior 85F: 500wh

I hope that makes sense... Its just a weird habit I'm trying to wrap my head around breaking (conserving battery).

If you can't fit your laptop even after moving the seats and wheel away, set the car in camper mode and sit on the passenger seat.

@deonb - The reviews are funny! It would be amazing though if we could sit in the passenger seat. The 45 mins at the supercharger could mean meaningful work time.

Where you put the car in neutral... then go put the parking brake ON using the touchscreen. That way the car will run forever. No timouts, AC on, etc etc. Usefull when camping in the car.

But that trick does not work when charging.
