Best way to sell my 2018 P100D ?

Yes, tried that but we don't have assigned spaces and they don't want to commit to having 50-100 amps available either.
For residential charging 200/30 is quite enough. My P85D charged typically in about 10 hours from 20% to 90% and I had ~200/23 normally, usually , more than enough for daily use, even if you went 150 miles per day. Due to the constant pull the actual voltage drops typically, but there still is plenty with a low capacity connection. In my condominium my connection is shared with the swimming pool pumps. Such a solution works well long term and is far better than dumping your P100D, IMHO anyway.

If your condo installs chargers, consider installing them at less-desirable parking spots to reduce ICEing and resentment.

Could even use ChargePoint or GreenLots to cover electricity cost. Would further reduce ICE resentment.
Condos often have assigned parking, and if so no need to have them hidden away. No problem with ICEing, since you deal with it the same way as if someone parks in your assigned parking spot, or on your driveway at home. Benefits for a condo to have electrified spots include attracting EV owners, as well as potentially added revenue (charge more for assigned electrified parking spot, just like charging for other premium spots). If you're thinking electrifying visitor parking, then yes, use the less desirable, out of the way spots to avoid ICE'ing.

Funny.. The question was how to best sell my P100D. The question was not how can I avoid selling my P100D and keep it. Everybody helps. Some are more helpful that others. And along those lines, my post was not. ;)
I think people were answering the question from the original post: "IF I decide to sell my Model S, how best to do that without getting slaughtered?". And the answer to that one is "finding a way to keep it is a more viable solution to not getting slaughtered than hoping someone will pay significantly over market value for the car". Of course there are other, more risky solutions such as "sell the car for whatever you can get, take the money to a casino and try to make up the difference" but such solutions have a downside of possibly losing all the money. ;)

It looks like I'll be moving to a new city and into a Condo where I won't have the ability to home charge. To make it worse, my commute will be about 75 minutes each way daily. So, I'll need to charge every other day or so. There are no supercharging stations nearby.

IF I decide to sell my Model S, how best to do that without getting slaughtered? I've only owned this car for about 8 months now, have 7000 miles on it, I've been to a couple of ICE dealers (MB, BMW, etc.) and they've shown no interest in the Tesla as a trade without me taking a 40%+ beating on an 8 month old car.

Letmeknow if you selling

The answer is simple and unambiguous. If by “best sell” you mean “for maximum price”, you’ll need to sell it yourself private party and it might take a while.

If by “best sell” you mean get rid of it for a semi-reasonable to market price with as little personal pain as possible, take it to somewhere like Carmax and be done with it.

In either case, prepare to take a rather significant financial drubbing.

Have you tried reaching out to the Condo manager about possibly allowing you to install a charger?
It seems like some people have gotten lucky with that.

Yes, tried that but we don't have assigned spaces and they don't want to commit to having 50-100 amps available either.

You should check if your local electrical company provides any installation plans for your condo or your work place.

Here in California, PG&E install a new separate line and install public L2 chargers (240 V 32 A 7.7kWh J1772)
managed by companies such as Greenlots or ChargePoint. So there is no installation cost for the landlord or the user.

Did you check if there was any CHAdeMO locations nearby using PlugShare?

Also, is there announced future Tesla Superchargers?

Unless you were moving oversea, best is to keep your brand new Model S and find a way to charge it..

Curious why you are moving into a condo without charging and requiring a 75 minute commute each way.
Can’t you find a place to live closer to work with charging?
That commute sounds soul sucking but way more pleasant in a S P100D.

Unless there is any particular reason for you current choice, why not finding another location, may be closer to your work?

Funny. Just a few years ago, people would move across country, scale the highest peaks and shovel snow (errr, brrrr) for a job. These days after buying at least their first Tesla, life has changed we consider where we live (baby needs a place to re-charge) distance to work (ahhh, the relaxing drive in a Tesla - make it longer), and if work has charging. Work? that great job? Meh, if it helps me make my Tesla payments.

I grew up in the Milwaukee area, so for me the elephant in the room a 2 1/2 hour round-trip commute each day. I can understand that there are condos without EV charging, but in your neck of the woods there must be something you like and can afford that is much closer to work? What am I missing?

It sounds like you have all night at the condo. Charging your car shouldn't take very long, or it could take its time and charge at a low rate. Not sure I'd want 110, though it should do the job, but your condo owner might not be as opposed to a 220 outlet at 15 or 20 amps. Look at the 6-15 and 6-20 adapters from Tesla. They even look less aggressive than their big brothers, the 10-50 or 14-50, but they will still charge your S two+ or three+ times faster than a 110 outlet, which sounds like about what you need. If work doesn't pan out for charging, bring in a couple outlets and plugs from Home Depot and show him what might work out better for both of you. You might show him a lockable weatherproof box, too. You can always return the show and tells and get a refund.

I'd want a 10-30, 6-50, 14-30 or 14-50 at work. Hope you get this fixed. It's a lot cheaper than taking a hit on selling your used car.

If you are considering adding destination charging at your condo, contact Tesla. They often will provide you with the chargers for free. They are very pro active in increasing the number of charging options for their customers.
While you are at it, ask if they have any plans for placing a Supercharger anywhere near you in the near future. They are currently opening new supercharger locations at a rapid rate.

You may have noticed it from the comments, everyone in the Tesla community is interested in finding out something that may work out for you.
