Where did you read that we have hotspot in car? The update allows for better connectivity of your car to your own hotspot (phone etc) while shifting into drive.Disney+ and car wash mode will be nice. I didn't even know we had hotspot in the car so that's even better!
Ah, I read it backwards... I thought they were allowing you to create a hotspot in the car. Too bad.

I take it, by the icon, that the battery icon is green again?
I am happy for all these updates but, what I really would like, is a slider so I can either make the driving visualizations the size they were before or even smaller.
Also, anyone else notice that the photo used in the article (and presumably on Tesla's website) shows the old interface from last year?

Nice! It looks like they merged everyone (S3XY, radar and oo radar) onto the 2021.12.25.6 branch so now we should be getting more regular updates and enhancements.

I hope to get the colored battery icon back and display the range from the Energy app. The number it shows now is useless. And you wouldn’t need to toggle between the Nav screen and Energy Screen on trips.

Yup. I will be dropping the connectivity when the free subscription runs out... if Tesla let me use it as a hot spot for my other devices I would be much more likely to keep it.

You don’t. This feature lets you retain your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot (for the car to connect to) without having to restart WiFi after putting the car in drive. For those that don’t pay for premium connectivity and use their phones for the Internet source. This does not allow devices to tether off of the AT&T data connection that is “Premium connectivity”.Disney+ and car wash mode will be nice. I didn't even know we had hotspot in the car so that's even better!

I doubt it. My thought is radar-equipped cars will still use radar as a backup short-circuit for a while until vision-only is fully proven out. Of course this would leave us with one potential source of phantom braking.
