Blackvue power supply fused or not?

I purchased a DRG650S 2 channel dash cam and would like to wire it directly or through the ODB2 port. Is the cigarette lighter connector power supply fused and if so do I need to put a fuse in line for my installation ?

There's a fuse in the 12 volt accessory plug so if you cut that off and wire it directly to the OBD plug, then you need a fuse. I wired a female 12 volt accessory plug to the obdII male connector so I could just plug it in like I was plugging into a cigarette lighter.
