Well - as I was chatting with the Tesla chat specialist the car vanished. It's actually a car that I have seen on and off and on and off the inventory. I am not sure what the deal is. Anyway, he would have been able to transfer the car otherwise. He cannot lower the price to match my original price. That can only be done by the people over text, he said. There is so little inventory coming to my area, everything is spoken for (and indeed there are Tesla's everywhere). I will keep my eyes out!
Yea…, with these quick inventory orders we are at the mercy of the responsiveness of SA via text or phone. Another way is to go to SC in person and get the order done…

If we have two orders and one gets cancelled, can we get order fee credited to the other order? I texted 510 nimber and they never gave me answer. And of course, phone is unreachable

Sooooo... Monday March 6th I got the Schedule delivery notification, car can be picked up on the 9th.
Made the appointment for the 10th, but texted the 510 number if possible to pickup on the 8th, they said no problem, march 8 at 12 pm. They ended up postponing to a few hours later March 8th at 5 PM.
Tried to inspect the car, but everything looks flawless, I checked it again today during daytime, and haven't found any issues. Build date is March 5th.
Basically, ordered MYAWD on the 2nd, car built on the 5th, delivered on the 8th...

p.s. feel pretty bad for everyone who STILL didn't get their car who ordered in February... hopefully you guys can get them by end of quarter and enjoy them.... Wife surely enjoys ours

My delivery appointment is confirmed for tomorrow and I'm super excited. I'm also super grateful to everyone in this chat for sharing their experiences and knowledge, otherwise I would still be sitting with my original order on TBD. I would still try to negotiate to get the $250 back from the additional order but it won't be my main focus. Already have the github checklist ready on my phone. Any other suggestions, advise, words of wisdom?

Don’t stress too much — i consider myself a perfectionist and I was so stressed about the quality. It’s great. You’ll love it and the GitHub checklist will cover everything for you.

I switched my MYAWD Pre-Production order to a MYLR that populated on the Existing Inventory site less than 2 weeks ago. Its a PA086 and I am scheduled to get it delivered this Thursday 3/16. It will cost $4,000 more than the AWD.

Now we have mixed feelings about picking it up. It would replace our very low milage (28,000 miles) 2015 Lexus RX450h Hybrid SUV in Immaculate condition. We will also have our current MYLR that we got 3 months ago. My wife is reluctant to give up the Lexus. The local dealer offered us $25,000 for the Lexus. If we get the 2nd MYLR, then rather then selling it, we will give the Lexus to our daughter. We still have 3 days to decide.

You need to get a quote from Carvana for your Lexus ASAP. I had a 2015 Lexus IS 250 with 62,000 miles on it and they gave me $21,000. You can do the quote quickly online. Highly recommend… the dealer WILL low ball you. Tesla only offered me $17k, so I sold it to Carvana.

Hey all… fast update…. I noticed some really bad clunking/squeaking coming from the rear of the car when I would travel at low speeds over bumps or rough road. I thought it might be a strut or other suspension component, so I made a SC appointment for Thurs. decided to do some research last night and went out this morning, adjusted the rubber stoppers on the trunk, and it’s silent now. Going to cancel my appointment. Wanted to give you all a heads up in case you experience the same.

Thanks for that. Carvana offer was $25,744. Had one minor reported accident.

Hmm i think i hear it too i thought it is because of those magnetic cargo cover for rear
are you talking about the rubber which helps lock the trunk?

Well i guess it is tough to survive on all electric as for now after having my car for 3 days i can say that i would never have 2 electric cars until they are easily chargeable like we put gas in cars lol
I was in the same situation for LR and AWD I was actually preferring to buy a LR but saw that people ordered in january and didnt get the car so i got one AWD from inventory because of the tax credit thing (which also turned out to be preproduction but was able to get another swap from inventory)
