Looks repairable to me. Just don’t drive far on it to the garage.

It fits the criteria for repairs:

1) not near the sidewall
2) the hole is not too big (> 1/4 inch or 6mm)

I would go for a patch.

That's a repair job. But don't bother with Formula1 or Kwikfit, they don't want to know. From my experience, anyway.

Yes, most punctures through the tread can be, its only the side wall they can't repair.
As long as you have not filled it with gunk repair, you should be ok - £20 normally

Just forget about most of the "chain" tyre places - they'll refuse to repair it as it's got the acoustic lining.
Some independents will do it, some won't.
The usual reason for refusing to repiar is the extra time it takes to peel out the lining costs more than they charge for the repair.

I had a large screw stuck in a very similar position on my previous car. A local independent garage repaired it for £10.

I have had a few like that - definitely go to an indpendent - i think it cost £10 for a plug repair.

with 235mm wide tyres the puncture would need to be within the central 165mm. See:

Probably too late now, but redpath tyres have previously repaired punctures right on the corner for me. Have to be sent away for a different process, costs a little more, but still better than a new tyre.

I had it repaired at a local place for £10..
They fixed it with one of those kits that put a “cotton” string in if you know what I’m talking about..
