Thanks for the reference to the Bjorn video lennier - I watched it and it answered a lot of my questions.
The LEDs on the Model X look a lot whiter and brighter than the Model S and even Bjorn mentions that several times.
The new concept of LED lights have a 1, 2, 3 step in cornering lights. The existing cornering lights on the Model S were pretty good but also a bit gimmicky and I would not be in a rush to upgrade it to the 3 step configuration.
BUT the really crappy non LEDs on the Model S just have to go - and so my hopes are really high that my Chinese EBay solutions will solve the problem. I'll keep y'all posted now y'hear...
