Dave (and Tea and Toast) will be driving back to Maryland, raising awareness for EVs, Teslas and CXC!!

For those of you (better luck next time) who missed TMC Connect - it was fabulous - great speakers, great to see everyone (including one surprise member), and great to hang out at Refuel again. Also, Dave took out his frunk liner so people can see what's under the cover that are under the hood and all the gear-heads and conversion specialists at Laguna Seca loved it :).

Sorry... running hard... haven't been able to get back here until now.

Current remaining ticket count: 47

Sellout pretty likely at this point, probably later today.

Have I been updating the number more frequently? I guess!

Have I been naggy? I hope not!

Honestly, in both cases, not really conscious of how might actions might be interpreted at this point. So if I'm bugging people, I really do apologize. Probably the biggest thing that I do (and I've noticed @PeterK does, too) is try to keep all of our Climate XChange and raffle stuff confined within a careful set of threads. So tempting to respond in other threads, but then again, people are trying to have conversations that don't necessarily include our particular agenda. If anyone would like to give me some feedback, and doesn't feel free to do so in a public forum, please feel free to PM me. Also happy to email and phone, too (which might start with a PM).

I have *definitely* gotten naggy about making sure people actually receive the electronic ticket that they've paid for. We print them all out at CXC HQ of course but we also deliberately are sending people those e-tickets so they know what they have! While nearly all of our deliveries go off without a hitch, there are still those cases where spam folders wind up with our email or something else happens. IMHO, email isn't sufficiently robust. So I do try to get people to "e-sign" the tickets, which serves as a positive acknowledgement that they've received the ticket email.

Anyway, while the last date and time for Carbon Pricing Awareness Raffle ticket sales is nominally Tuesday, July 4th @ 2 pm ET, it looks like we're going to sell out before that. Ticket sales close once we reach 2500.

Drawing is Tuesday, July 4th @ 7:30 p.m. BBQ starts at 5:30 p.m. Please RSVP through the website, carbonraffle.org. I hope whoever wins Grand Prize, 2nd and 3rd will each give me a ride in their cars. :) Doesn't matter that I have my own, I still love getting rides!

Thanks,
Alan

P.S. Long... long list of people to thank for helping... !

I said Naggy, but definitely in a good way! You've done an excellent job keeping us aware and generating enthusiasm. Please do the same again next year!

Glad things are finally selling out!

I was going over the rules and prizes one more time and I thought of a twist that I hadn't seen anywhere (but I've not read every thread, lol...).

What if the first prize winner wanted to, instead of an S or X, get TWO Model 3's? With the $120K, one could easily get a good one and a loaded one!

What think? :D

I really like your license plate.:D I hope it will easily transfer to your new car if you win. Actually I don't know the process in Florida either.
