My 2013 S with 66k miles did this right before the center screen stopped turning on. Not sure if it was the eMMC or MCU as the car is still at the Service Center getting an infotainment upgrade (due to screen leak) and air suspension reservoir assembly replacement.

Yes, the infotainment upgrade is 1500 dollars since the car is out of warranty. The only thing that would have been free would have been the eMMC upgrade alone because of the recall.
Mine as well. This morning. 2015 S 85. Did the full reboot but message still there. Car runs fine. Had the LTE upgrade last winter. Running 2022.8.10.1

For the cost you are being charged, you get a brand new MCU2 which also includes a brand new Instrument Cluster. Because you get a brand new system your old MCU1 issues will be gone as might be expected. And, all that for ~$2k. Not bad.
My 2014 S85 just did the same thing this past weekend. Center display no longer working and screen leaking. This seems to be a common issue can’t believe they aren’t covering repair and or a portion of. Screen leaks doesn’t make sense to me.
I got this message earlier this week. Scheduled an appointment, but remote support suggested canceling in it, calling it a "firmware issue". 2015 S85D 58K miles.
We got this yesterday on our 2014 S85 with 123,000 miles. It seems to be working fine. We are on fw version 2022.8.10.5. Has anyone had it resolve itself?
Tesla has decided to voluntarily and proactively recall some Model S and Model X vehicles to update software and to replace the 8GB embedded MultiMediaCard (eMMC) in the media control unit (MCU). This recall applies only to Model S and Model X vehicles built before March 2018 that are equipped...

I trust you all had the eMMC recall update done already? If so, then I would definitely advocate for the MCU2 upgrade.
If they cannot get the current system working, shouldn't the warranty cover the upgrade? Not sure if you would know, just wondering. My system seems to be on its last legs. I will prob need to upgrade it soon. Just want to see if I can get tesla to either fix it or replace it.
