Center tweeter hole now filled in (no retrofit possible)

Sadly, as I was taking the speaker grille off on my 1/2023 M3P build, the previous hole for cars with the deleted tweeter is now filled in, making a retrofit much harder.

Yes, but it is perhaps not the end of the world. The center tweeter is nothing special and since the corner speakers do not have tweeters, one could make an argument for just having three matched speakers across the dash.

I can confirm that the center tweeter hole is in fact a solid piece now and I wasted a ton of time and a little money buying the speaker, splice, mounting kit etc and trying to see if it was worth trying to open the hole up so I could fit my plug n play tweeter but I gave up after realizing I'd probably scratch the *sugar* out of the dashboard trying to just to cut a hole in that space that's now filled with hard plastic.

I miss my 14 speaker model 3 now because of the fuller sounding stereo. The new Y is great otherwise. I almost bought the X just for the stereo but didn't want to drive a boat everyday with the stupid falcon doors.
