Order soon because one more price increase and you might be down to just a choice of color…..as long as it’s not red!Same here. Might have to lose the Induction wheels, and add some after market ones

Particularly this...has anyone noticed this on the NJ Charge Up website under the dealers tab?
Charge Up New Jersey for Dealerships and Showrooms | Charge Up New Jersey
chargeup.njcleanenergy.com
For vehicles purchased prior to the launch of the Point-of-Sale program, the owner of the vehicle may apply for the incentive here.
I noticed that as well ... it begs to question if the incentive is still viable to those who purchased earlier this year.Particularly this...
Ordered MY on 6/9 with the price increase the next day; pure happenstance on timing but I've wondered the same whether the price will increase again eating into any incentive for future buyers.Price increased by another $500 on model Y yesterday. So now NJ rebate in its current form is going to kill the wait and watch approach. Folks who will book without the knowledge is these recent price increases will think they landed some kind of rebate while it is not
so for everyone that is putting their MY on hold to wait for program launch, wonder if anyone is willing to take the chance and take deliveryI noticed that as well ... it begs to question if the incentive is still viable to those who purchased earlier this year.
That's the risk / gamble I took ... hoping there will be enough wiggle room in the final incentive language that allows for delivery acceptance, registration, etc. My model Y is scheduled for delivery 8/9-8/29 and I'm presuming NJ will have their act together by then. If they take a hard-stance on order date, I'll probably do what others have suggested an eat the $100 order fee, cancel my existing order, and submit another order based on the 'official' date they want.to those ordering now, are you taking a chance that July 1 applies to delivery/acceptance of the vehicle vs order date?
Yesto those ordering now, are you taking a chance that July 1 applies to delivery/acceptance of the vehicle vs order date?
Most likely for people who get their vehicle after July 1st, but before the dealerships have access to a system of applying the rebate at the time of sale before it’s fully established.I noticed that as well ... it begs to question if the incentive is still viable to those who purchased earlier this year.
Like a clockwork, ESD move to Sept nowyes, did on Friday(6/4). After 3 days I got Mid -Aug/Sep delivery date and today it came up as July 5 -15.
No Vin assigned so far, so I guess it will keep fluctuating.
Oh geez, that's not looking good for us that ordered before July 1st or whatever the 'official' start-date. Here's hoping NJ shows some grace with the EV rebate or just bite the bullet and go thru the gyrations of canceling and reordering.Blue Button and VIN just now...
Red LR - Princeton NJ delivery
Ordered May 27
Estimated Delivery: June 24 - June 30
Of note, I called and asked and the Princeton delivery folks and they told me I would have needed to place the order after the program started to qualify for the rebate. Also, that if I wanted to cancel and reorder, they would not be able to place that new order on the existing VIN, that I would just join the back of the line again. Looks like I have to hope for some backwards compatibility on the NJ rebate or bigger hope for the federal.
cent price increases will think they landed some kind of rebate while it is not
i will be happy with them just announcing anything soon, irrespective of price range. this suspense is almost unbearable now.If NJ wants to take this program seriously, they’ll raise the threshold MSRP price. Car price(gas and electric) have gone up considerably this year.
Which sales advisor did you use? I am trying to find an inventory car but hard to find one these days. May have to go to the store where I can browse the existing inventory list and pick one from there.I gave up hope of waiting and found a match in existing inventory. Picked up tuesday from Princeton, love the car.
