Charging port

Charging port door does not open when charger button is pushed unless I wake Tesla with app or by opening a door. Anybody else??

Pretty much same here. Not sure exactly but it's supposed to work but seems logical to me. The car is locked, the alarm is set, even in my garage. So it doesn't know who's pressing that button. Now, that said when I'm standing there with my phone you would think it know it's safe to unlock the port with a press on the cable just like opening the door. But no. I either just give the door handle enough of a tap to unlock but not open or press the port open on the amp on my way to the car; or on the car screen if I just parked.

It happens a lot. For that reason, I always turn the car's climate on - this is useful anyways about 75-90% of the time.

That’s its normal behavior. You can usually (not always) wake it up by half-pressing a door handle.

yeah.. seems normal. I've tried to open it with the car in multiple states and it needs to be awake.
