Cold draft when cars pass on the freeway.

I've noticed while driving my wife's Model Y LR, whenever a car passes me on the driver's side on the freeway, there's a noticeable cold draft. This doesn't happen in my model 3 (or any car I've driven, and I'm not sure if this is normal with the Y.

It shouldn't be normal, but it is common.

Stay in the fast lane, you wont be passed from the left , joking apart you should open a service request to have it fixed.

We think of the car as rigid, but could the buffeting be strong enough to shake the driver's side window enough to cause air flow inside?

Maybe. Though the air feels like it's coming in on my lower body, like it's coming in through the door jamb.

Mine does the same thing (2023 MYLR) but only when large trucks/semi's go by on the left. Noticed it on a 350 mile trip on mostly Interstate. I don't notice it when on two lane and trucks pass going the other way. I think it's something to do with the high/low pressure areas generated by semi's..

My 2023 model y LR does the same. When a semi truck passes on my left, I feel a breeze coming from the window.
