I honestly don’t know, but I have friends who are 50, I’ll askAny idea if that increases the more times you get pulled over for it? Haha. Also planning on going without a front plate till I get a ticket but curious if repeat offenses get you in more trouble.
That is specifically listed as not allowed according to the law. It must be “mounted/affixed” to the front of the vehicle. Can you put a plate in your front window when you park to avoid a ticket?
Thanks haha. I imagine you can get away with it for a while if you just pay the tickets but after a while it would probably escalate. I also bought the quick bandit since it seems pretty easy to remove and put backI honestly don’t know, but I have friends who are 50, I’ll ask
It isn’t a hole mounted plate, it’s a 3M sticker. You should NOT drill the bumper because of the sensors in the bumpers. Removing the sticker will damage the paint if you can get it off.I plan to just mount the tesla designed "free" mount on the front. We live in a state it's required. And if I ever move I can easily fill the holes and paint/blend for less then the cost of those rickety janky mounts. Or use bumper plugs. I just don't get the willingness to spend incredible money on a intricate mount to not put holes in the car that the OEM *designed* for that purpose.
Tesla text says my car will arrive in Colorado on the 13th, then a couple days to Aurora and a couple days prep. FWIWI think ours are coming in together. Also 9th-14th, from 13th-17th, Aurora pickup. Just text Tesla back - I assume they’ve sent you at least a few texts? Their text routing is dynamic. The Cherry Creek showroom texts, the Aurora SC texts, and corporate Tesla texts have all come from the same number, and my replies get read by the correct people. (And I’m also waiting to schedule. Aurora SC said once the car lands in Colorado I’ll get the text asking me to schedule)
I park downtown once a week for the past 8 months and haven't gotten a ticket.Worse yet; while you can often get away with it just don’t consider parking in downtown Denver in public parking without one. Instant tickets… On my Mach-E I just gave up and installed it. Just get a nice custom plate of some kind and it feels better.
Thanks - I was told something similar - that the 9th-14th window we have isn’t realistic, because the train is still in California. They told me to expect delivery in about a week. And update… got the text to schedule delivery. 6/17Tesla text says my car will arrive in Colorado on the 13th, then a couple days to Aurora and a couple days prep. FWIW
Same here!Pickup appointment for the 17th!!!!
About 4 days for me. (VIN assigned 2 days before the factory text)For those of you that just scheduled how long was it between the “your car has left the factory” text till when you could actually schedule?
