Condensation inside camera glass?

This site may earn commission on affiliate links.
Hi all,

A number of times recently I’ve seen condensation on the inside of the glass between the side cameras and the exterior. This morning I got a “camera obscured, blind spot detection compromised” error message.

Has this happened to others?

Is there anything I can do about it?

And today it was nuts in Seattle. Got the blind spot warning over and over as the sun came out and then went back in behind clouds. FSD is going to be hopeless in Seattle if this continues.

Yeah, my drive to NYC in 10F weather on Saturday produced alerts for hours. The cameras never fully defogged.

That blows. I have faith in Tesla being able to get the software side of this going, but all our cars are likely going to need hardware retrofits to solve this issue unless Tesla has something they can do in software to generate heat to get rid of the condensation build-up.
