ugh this gets worst. So cars are arriving in tampa. But they can't release them until the vin matching processes and whatever software glitch they have won't let them match to individuals. What this means is that until the glitch its fixed regardless if the car is at the center or not they can't release it to people. The tampa delivery center mentioned over 50 people are on this dreaded hold.
The delivery specialist I talked to today said that the cars won't be released and matched to individuals until the new firmware is vetted/approved. Maybe this is the homologation thing someone else was mentioning? Maybe it isn't truly a glitch, but that's what they're telling some customers while the delivery specialists wait for the Service department to release the cars. My delivery specialist said they just came out of a regional meeting where they discussed this (and rolling out home delivery within 10 miles of a Service Center in the next month possibly!). He said the SCs in the area are currently holding onto hundreds of Model Ys (only Model Ys, no other Tesla is waiting on this particular firmware approval), will be nearly a thousand in the region by next week.

Ok, so, I too fell victim of the Friday afternoon (east coast) date adjustment. Kind of happy but know that these projected dates are only made for us OCD'ers!:

Ordered White Plains NY April 16, Red, LR, 5 seat, black interior, 20" wheels, no hitch

April 21 - May 19 to June 4
April 29 - June 4 to 28
May 1 - June 5 to 25
May 1 afternoon - June 10 to June 30
May 2 - June 2 to 22
May 3 - June 3 to 23
May 4 - June 4 to 24
May 5 - June 16 to 30
May 6 - June 15 to 30
May 11 - June 9 to 29
May 12 - June 4 to 24
May 14 - 5 to 9 weeks from ordering date

which actually, according to my Gregorian calendar, makes the "projected date" a little closer: May 21 to June 18. Should I be happy?

Mine just changed from "6/03 - 6/23" to the generic "6-10 weeks from order placed date".

Looks like a ton of us are in the same thing. My SC reached out to me yesterday telling me to expect delivery soon...before the end of the month. He said they expect my car to arrive shortly (Devon PA).
I ordered the same day as you, similar config, western PA. I was told it was coming this week or next as well. Good luck fellow Keystone Stater!

Question for people to make sure I am not crazy. In the Tesla Portal I show that my wife and I are approved through BMO. Nothing has changes on that in the portal. Then today we received two letters in the mail from BMO saying we where denied. I called BMO and they said they can't see anything since I don't have an account yet and told me to call Tesla. I called SA at pick up location and explained everything. He says that I am all good to go and show approved for them. His thinking and my thinking is that the system probably submitted us to mulitple places with terms and BMO might have had two applications one at one term (denied) and another at another term (approved). What we got in the mail was the denial for the first attempt which was probably at a lower interest rate and by increasing the interest rate a little bit we where approved and that I shouldn't worry.

This is normal for car buying when using dealer finance?
