My config is totally different, but I ordered on 5/8 and don’t have a VIN. It is definitely not unusual at this point…lots of people from early May still waiting it seems unfortunately.

What’s your EDD? I’m in Austin too and ordered 5/25 and still no vin. theres a handful of central Texas folk in this forum with the same EDDs.

I ordered on July 24th and have never had an EDD on my order page. That's probably a bad sign haha.
Alright. I am not getting up my hopes yet. Because, VINs can be taken away from what I've seen here. However, I checked in the morning around 9AM Central and No EDD, No VIN as usual. However, Around 10:27AM I got an email from Tesla and I thought it might be usual solar bait email. But, I opened it and it had subject 2021 Model Y Financed Final Payment Ready. Immediately pulled up the Tesla account and saw the VIN as 239xx. I haven't prepared for this yet. No financing and I am closing a house on 6th. Hopefully, this is also not a VIN rejected by someone else.Very cool! They are giving VINs on Sunday too. Did you get an email? Was it a call? Do tell!

Now 11 weeks after my order. I don't think I have ever had an EDD (first date) more than 30 days in the future.

My EDD is August 30 - September 19 but it was more like Aug 15 - Sep 7 just yesterday. It's been all over the place. My SA said my car was supposed to be born on 8/2. But he said the same thing about 7/19 too.

Well the number that I came up with, was based off of the total push out for the quarter, I just divided it all the way down into amount per day.

Congrats! But your sig shows the order on hold for nearly all your wait time. So you really only haven’t had an EDD for, like, a week.

Those in Texas, I have read that we need to pay prior to the MY entering the state. Can anyone confirm? Only reason I ask is because it would make sense we could sit with a VIN longer than others since we have to pay earlier.

Seems the last one 21-10 is close to mine. Which is 16-02, we have same build except I got blk interior. I ordered two days before you. May 28th.

Well, I ordered May 28, and I started seeing a psychiatrist about three weeks ago, due to this emotional roller coaster. I’ve now been waiting nine weeks and one day. Most likely we are going crazy.

I wouldn’t trust your dates, your car is very similar to mine, i have black interior, It’s the only difference, and I ordered on May 28. My dates are August 16 through September 2. I feel like your dates are going to move forward.
Typical, keep your dates at a constant 12 days and keep your window at 15 days….but when the time comes, you have 3 days. It would be nice if the customer had a little say.
