most likely they will assign car to someone else if there is a person waiting with same config close to your place. you might be put back in queue. some people didn't have to wait long, but some had to.. completely depends

I have not seen anything in writing about what theoretically should happen if you reject delivery (even if it's a customer schedule conflict that results in a rejected delivery). It's so rare that there's only one datapoint here that I can recall in this thread. In their case, they got another VIN in about 2 or 3 weeks. That's insanely fast in "Tesla time"! So it seems if you're reasonable and communicate respectfully with your delivery specialist, and come to an understanding, they can expedite your next VIN assignment and not make you wait four more months.
From my understanding, you are placed back in the queue but are prioritized by your order date. So, while you go back in the queue, you don't lose the priority.
Glad to see they're actually making their way to the east coast. Another May order finally gets completed!

Out of curiosity how long does it take to usually hear who your SA is. I was fortunate to snag an new inventory car this morning and am wasting no time trying to finalize everything for pickup. Mt. Kisco delivery location as I am from Upstate NY any advice or a number to call?

I've been refreshing tesla-info.com way to frequently to a point that it is unhealthy lol. One appeared this morning that was almost my exact configuration everything minus white interior and I snagged it.
Been without a car for a few months now and cant keep waiting for my MX 2022 EDD.
In honor of his post, I ordered 3 more MYLR to jam up the queue.
The saga continues - I decided to call the SLC office to see if they could tell where the car was in transit for my scheduled 08/25 delivery.
Turns out its on the lot now. Picking it up at 4:00 today. Excited to say the least.

If you take an inventory build, then you'd be buying at current pricing correct? At this point I think I'm $1500 less than current pricing
