What a weekend! Let’s recap.

Friday: Picked up a MYLR off of the inventory. It was quickly taken away as it was placed “by mistake”. Looking or a $250 refund now.

Saturday: Prepare for Henri to lose his mind on my town.

Sunday: Henri was a direct hit over Westerly, Rhode Island. Taylor Swift (my actual neighbor) and I hugged while kissing our butts goodbye. Not really. She wasn’t in town. Cool chick none the less. Hate her music though. Power was lost at 11am.

Monday: While power is still off, I called Tesla about our solar order. 34 panels and 3 power walls which have been “awaiting utilities” approval since March. Power comes back on around noon.

Ive been cursing Tesla since. Well, until 15 minutes ago when my MYP VIN hit. 259.

I forgive you Tesla.

Sweet system! I've been interested in the powerwall, but the price tradeoff between an ICE generator is just too much (I want to be green, but affordably!). How long do you anticipate 3 would power your house without solar recharging?

My house, with two Teslas would be about an 8-9 days without recharging from solar. Our plan is to use the walls during the way, grid at night while recharging the walls as well. Offset will be amazing. 42k system and grants, etc pay for all but 14k for us. It’s a no brainer seeing out electrician is about 500 a month during the summer.

Question to all. When get a VIN, how long is the "typical" span between VIN assignment and delivery? I received my VIN today and my EDD is still 9/4/9/17. What should I expect for actual deliver?
Or is this a "How long is a piece of string?" question?
The farther you are from fremont the longer it takes. I would assume for you it would be from 1-2 weeks. If you have a VIN, you can call the delivery specialist though and they will tell you.

I'm the same way. Even my electrician said unless you really need those extra 2-4 miles an hour with the wall charger, save yourself $1K+ and just do the outlet. heck I might even get a 2nd mobile connector and a wall hanger so I can keep the current mobile charger in the car. Thats only $275
I did the wall hanger (took forever to ship so I don't have it yet) and I'll buy another mobile connector in a few weeks if I decide that I actually need 1 in the car for daily usage. I was told that I don't, but I'll re-evaluate in a few weeks once I have the vehicle.

No you are right, seems that MSMs tend to take longer than the average time. Glad to see a bunch of us getting VINs the today. Hopefully it continues for a bit.
I've been refreshing a lot more lately since some other May MSM orders have been getting VINs, no luck here yet. SA said I was set to be matched to a car this past weekend, but no VIN yet. I'm hoping I'm a part of this apparent production run of MSMs happening now! Good luck to everyone else out there waiting as well.

That seems like the perfect amount to cover 99% of scenarios, and it is great that you've integrated it into daily use. Do RI energy providers have peak / off-peak rates? I haven't seen much of that as an option in NJ yet.

And those grant offsets are incredible!! If I could get a similar price with grants / rebates I would love to do this. Unfortunately, NJ is WAY less than 66% at a measly 22% and it would have to be completed by December 31 of this year.

Same for me.

Order date 6/9 MYLR7 MSM Black No tow, for the past few weeks EDD has held steady at 9/8-9/28 except for a one day change to 9/9-9/29 early last week.

I am in NYC so I am not overly optimistic I will actually get delivery this quarter.
