Eagerly awaiting news. Just added info to tracking spreadsheet.

Update 9/6 - Changed configuration on 8/30 to add PUP due to news about track mode - no change to delivery (late September). Received email today (9/6) indicating ready for pickup at Decatur, GA location as early as 9/18 (thru 9/25). Excited, to say the least.
 
I just got the email today saying my car is ready for pickup this Saturday (2 days from now). Nothing has changed in my account. No request for filling out any paperwork.

Am I right to be worried that I’m getting passed along someone else’s reject?

What do you mean by "filling out" paperwork? Did you confirm the details that you provided, ID, Insurance Binder, and do you see a MVPA link on the right hand side? I've yet to fill out anything official, but all of my personal info, deposit, taxes, DMV details etc. are in the MVPA.

Talk to your IDA who needs to unlock the features on the Tesla Account. Or, call 888-518-3752 and just wait to talk to a sales person. They are really good. They will also contact your IDA.

Someone's "reject" could be due to inability to get financing, not a problem with the car. No credit check to reserve/order.

Well, now I'm kicking myself for not upgrading to P3D+ since our configurations are otherwise identical and I'm also in the Atlanta area!
 
Just curious: Why not do ACH? I want to inspect before paying but is there another issue?

BTW it's beautiful! I get mine on Monday but with white interior.
I submitted the ACH through my Tesla account and it said “something’s gone wrong here” twice, but then my balance said $0. But the transfer never hit my bank, so I had to go get a cashiers check in order to take delivery.

I also got email from a Deliver Scheduling Advisor based in Fremont asking to pick a home delivery date from 09/26 to 09/30. I've requested 09/26 but have not received confirmation yet.

Got an email from delivery specialist in Fremont today offering at home delivery first week of October.
reserved 3/31/16.
configurable 4/18/18
ordered Blue AWD 6/28/18
config change by email to add EAP 8/12/18
delivery scheduled 9/6/18

I asked for Fremont Delivery Center and got 10/1 at delivery center.

EAP/vin still not showing in account, no payment option or contract yet.

Just wondering when your reservation date, order date and last edit were? I'm ordering a P3D- with the same blue/white. Just curious
 
Tuesday I got the call to schedule delivery in Fremont on Monday 9/10. Thursday (yesterday) my VIN hit the account (96XXX, blue/white/aero). Today got a call from Fremont to move my delivery up to Sunday, 9/9. They are definitely pushing hard to deliver. She said delivery takes about 15 minutes but there is no rush on how much I can inspect during the process.
 
After a couple of false starts (first car VIN 40xxx paint damage/backup camera non-functional/small dent in trunk lid—rejected delivery) new car VIN 76xxx was picked up last night. Only issues were some clear coat scratches that were buffed out while we waited five minutes. Car is flawless, gorgeous, and drives better than my Infiniti G35 or Chevy Corvette C5 before it. Every bit as fast as the Vette, and handles as good or better (probably due to better weight distribution and lower center of gravity.). Took Tesla a month from my original due date to come through, but they finally did, and in spades. Awesome car!

I really want to switch to white seats but want to make sure I keep my free super charging and receive the car by the end of the year for the tax credits. My account is still showing a Registration Number and Not a VIN, but they say it's at the train depot waiting to be loaded up.

Any advice on how to approach this?

You shouldn't have any problem switching and still getting your car easily this year, and likely still this month.

I'm 12/2/16 reservation, ordered 6/28/18 AWD, Blue, Aero's, Black Int., EAP. Est. Delivery was Sep '18 - Nov '18

I got an email on Thursday my car would be ready for pickup 9/26-9/30.

I decided to switch to PAWD this morning (using the edit button) and my Delivery changed to By Late September. I also talked to an OA and he said even if you ordered brand new today (Performance), you would get your car within 1-2 months.
