Did you try reaching out to a local sales store? This has helped me a lot since I'm able to text with the person I brought the car from. I ordered mine at the store from a person who basically went online and ordered it. But I did have a human to text Incase of issues.
I ordered my Model Y on 10/2, delivery went from February to March,
yesterday switched to September !
with new Austin coming on, how is this possible ?
Your Thoughts Please !
What was the original EDD when you submitted the order?
Have you completed your profile?
Does it just say a generic September with no dates? I would bet that this EDD gets moved forward closer to your original EDD. It can be common for the EDD to move or “reset” as you get closer to your actual delivery date.
Place an order for MYP, you will probably get a much earlier delivery date. When your original order is close to being ready, asses the resale value and decide if you should take delivery and resale, or just cancel and eat the $250 deposit fee. Maybe keep it as a Turo investment.
If you read the data in the spreadsheet from the other thread it looks like the LRY's average around 120ish days from order to delivery even w/o Giga Texas. I bet they Move your date up.
