every used tesla i see with black leather interior, the seats look so worn out. i think the white seats hide the wear a lot better.

That's why I got white. Black shows wear, dirt, kids crumbs 100x worse than white.

That's why I split the difference and went w/ cream

Course if you get a P version, that's not an option

the cream was really beautiful. but i've had tan-colored leather in the past and i don't wanna pass up the opportunity of something awesome and special like white.

Yeah for me I've always had black leather. My wife thought the white looked too sterile, but I wanted to try something different, hence the cream

That cream/oak/graphite is da shiz. So glad I ordered it on my X. It's a good thing they don't have it for the 3, or I'd probably get greedy and order one of those too!

So....car arrived to SC. Supposed to pick up tomorrow morning. Just got a call from DS that there is a problem with tailgate and it’s “not sitting right” and “it’s now at the body shop.” No timeline yet on when it will be fixed.

Just a mess and super disappointed.

Not a good way to start my Tesla experience.

So....car arrived to SC. Supposed to pick up tomorrow morning. Just got a call from DS that there is a problem with tailgate and it’s “not sitting right” and “it’s now at the body shop.” No timeline yet on when it will be fixed.

Just a mess and super disappointed.

Not a good way to start my Tesla experience.

I hear you. No one ever wants to get that news! Can you ask them to figure out what is wrong? I know some people were given details, as that my dictate whether or not you want to accept delivery of the vehicle.

Well, at least they caught it before you did at delivery. I think the SCs do 75% of the QC on the new cars... My Tesla page said my X was at the SC a good week before my delivery date. And it looked great.

Tried to get details but the DS was not very revealing on what the problem was. He was waiting to hear back from the body shop. You would think a big issue should have been caught at the factory. Possibly damage on transport?
