Depreciation on 3 year old Model S 90d

I recently went to Tesla, to trade in my 2016 Model S 90d with the following options:

All wheel drive Included

Grey Leather Seats $2,500.00

Premium Package $3,000.00
Ultra fidelity sound $2,500.00
Rear facing seats $3,000.00
$104,000.00 ​

Car is in excellent condition, with 62k miles, and has lifetime unlimited charging.

Who wants to guess what Tesla offered me to trade-in for a new 2019 Long range Model S?

Well I know my trade in value on a domestic non-tesla was about half what its book value was and a 1/3 less then other dealerships offered as trade in...hoping since authentic tesla used are pretty valuable they gave you better!

Even I am amazed by that number. I would've guessed a little over 40.

Maybe because of the high-ish mileage? Maybe they're just crazy?
