Notice that there is an app call "Remote S for Tesla" for IOS ?

Is it secure to use it ?

Many people have used it (including me, see the very long thread about it) and I am not aware of any security issues that have been reported.

"Remote S", "ConneTT" and Tesla's app do the same, i.e. requires your ID/pwd to gain access, you'll have to trust the app designer that there isn't any secret sauce in the code. Having said that as these are available in Apple's app store I guess somehow they must have been checked for malicious code?

The App store review process with check the app itself. It won't check any communications the app does. In particular, it won't check if the app is stealing your credentials.

It comes down to trusting the app developer.

I'm happily using the Tesla app but have not tried the 3rd party watch app for reasons stated.
